This is Mrs. Appleton's 14th year as a school counselor! She relocated 4 years ago from Plantation, Florida, and is originally from Forty-Fort, Pennsylvania. Prior to joining RHHS, Mrs. Appleton worked in Miami Dade and Broward County, Florida at a 6-12 charter school as well as a full-time dual enrollment high school on a college campus.

Mrs. Appleton has a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a concentration in Peace & Social Justice and Human Development from the University of Scranton. She also has a Master of Science in Secondary School Counseling, from the University of Scranton.
Mrs. Appleton is passionate about nature, gardening, chickens, and local history. She has 4 children- Coral (8), Ivy (5), Ridge (4), and Glen (6months) and resides in Richmond Hill.
